Current Development
The City of Vallejo’s Current Development section reviews plans and inspects private development to ensure construction is in accordance with Vallejo City Standards. The Current Development section also ensures maps are in compliance with the Subdivision Map Act and the Vallejo Municipal Code.

All permitting is done through the
Central Permit Center.
Benchmark Elevations
Benchmark elevations are permanently affixed marks that establish the exact elevation of a place. These are used by Surveyors to measure elevation, or as a starting point for Surveys.
